All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and never leaves your device.

Website Content Access

Our developer tools require access to webpage content to function. This includes:

  • CSS styles (for CSS Inspector)
  • Colors and images (for Color Picker, Image Extractor)
  • Font information (for Font Explorer)
  • HTML structure (for Element Editor, Outline Elements)
  • Meta tags and page data (for SEO Analyzer)

Important: This content is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. We do not collect, store, or share any website content you view.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

  • Browsing history
  • Keystrokes or form inputs

Third-Party Services

For Pro license activation, the extension communicates only with our server (bootstrapmade.com) to validate license keys. This communication includes:

  • Your email address (provided by you during activation)
  • License key
  • Installation identifier (anonymous, randomly generated)

No browsing data or website content is ever transmitted.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties. We do not share any data with advertisers or marketing companies.

Browser Permissions

DevTools Suite requests the following permissions:

  • activeTab: To inspect and interact with the current webpage when you activate a tool
  • storage: To save your preferences locally
  • scripting: To inject tool functionality into web pages
  • tabs: For Responsive Viewer and Screenshot Tool functionality
  • browsingData: To enable the Clear Browser Data tool (user-initiated only)
  • contextMenus: To add right-click menu options
  • Host permissions: To allow tools to work on any website you choose to inspect

Data Security

Since all user data is stored locally in your browser, it is protected by your browser's built-in security mechanisms. We do not have access to your locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

DevTools Suite does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
